Inspiration from tradition

Bhimbetka rock paintings, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are among the oldest
known artworks, dating back to the Paleolithic era. These paintings adorn the rock shelters of
Bhimbetka with vivid representations of animals, humans, and geometric patterns. The use of
natural pigments highlights scenes of hunting, dancing, and everyday activities, showcasing the
artistic prowess and cultural practices of early humans.
Similarly, The Rock shelters of Panna Region exhibit Rock art of cattle domestication and pre
cattle domestication stone age period.
The Block printing design on fabric are inspired and derived from the Rock paintings of
Bhimbetka and Panna region Rock shelters, Madhya Pradesh.
